Hofstra Law’s Online MA in Health Law and Policy was designed for non-lawyers in the health field who want to improve their legal literacy. The program is 100% asynchronous and online, and you can choose from three start dates – fall, spring or summer, for your convenience.

Students are eligible to join a journal after their first year of law school and must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, make a strong showing in a writing competition, or submit an article of publishable quality.

Through a series of student advocacy organizations including Mock Trial, Moot Court, and the Dispute Resolution Society, and the Center for Legal Advocacy, Hofstra Law is preparing future lawyers and leaders that are practice-ready.

Academic Success Program

The Academic Success Program is one of your most valuable resources from the time you begin law school to the time you sit for the bar exam, offering guides and skills workshops, helping students develop and refine analytical and writing skills that are vital for continued success in law school and in professional practice, as well as providing post-graduation support to ensure our students are prepared to pass the bar exam. Our advisors are always available for one-on-one training.
