The Hofstra Law Review published its inaugural issue in 1973. Since that time, it has earned and maintained its reputation as a professional and well-regarded journal. The Hofstra Law Review is ranked 172 overall among more than 1,000 law school journals in the nation.

The Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal is a scholarly journal devoted to various aspects of labor and employment law. Legal practitioners and scholars are given the opportunity to submit articles for publication in this specialized field of law. In addition, each issue contains notes and comments written by students examining cases and developments in the field.

The Journal of International Business and Law (JIBL), established in 1999, is a student-run publication that explores the interaction of business and law in the global marketplace. As the legal and business worlds collide in a global business dynamic, the need exists for wide-ranging scholarly debate and critical thinking on a broad range of topics that are crucial to both practitioners and academicians.

The ACTEC Law Journal is a unique, high-level academic journal that not only explores tax, trust, and estate topics in depth but also deals with the practical consequences and applications of the rapidly changing rules in these areas of law. Hofstra Law student editors are involved in the article-editing process.

The Family Court Review (FCR) is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal published under the auspices of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). The FCR is an international, interdisciplinary family law journal, a forum for the exchange of ideas, programs, research, legislation, case law, and reforms. The journal is ranked No. 2 nationally in the category of family law.*
