A dynamic career-enhancement degree for professionals and pre-professionals in law, health care and related fields.
The JD/MA in Bioethics program is a joint degree of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law and the Hofstra Bioethics Center.
As careers in and around health law increasingly confront ethical challenges, students in the JD/MA in Bioethics program are trained to enter a wide variety of jobs in government, community health, hospitals, and law offices that serve health care facilities, providers, and patient groups.
The joint program, which can be completed in as little as four years, enhances both educational and career opportunities for our students, and fosters a deeper understanding of current and future challenges in law, medicine, health care and related fields.
