Courses in the Online Health Law and Policy programs are taught by practicing attorneys and health care officials who understand the current legal trends and issues in the industry.
The program examines the state and federal laws that have reshaped the health care system in recent years, and trains you to be the authority who explains how legislation and regulation directly affect health care decisions, the industry, patient care and the American people.
Choose From Three Degree Paths in Health Law and Policy
Master of Arts
For non-lawyers looking to develop their legal literacy.
- Take 11 courses for 30 credits.
- Can be completed in 24 months.
Master of Laws
For lawyers who want to specialize their practice.
- Take 9 courses for 25 credits.
- Can be completed in 18 months.
- JD degree required.
Advanced Certificate
For lawyers and non-lawyers.
- Take 4 courses (Introduction to the American Legal System, Health Law and two elective courses.)
- Can be completed in 5 to 7 months of part-time study.
- Students in good academic standing can use the credits to transfer in to the MA or LLM program.

Course Offerings
LLM students do not take Health Law and Medicare and Medicaid Law.
