If you are looking for help with or information for researching, you’ve come to the right place. Here you will find helpful guides, developed by our Law Librarians, to start you on the right foot. You’ll also be able to explore and enter many online databases in addition to Lexis, Westlaw and Bloomberg.
As always, feel free to give the Reference Librarians a call at (516) 463-5908 for further assistance. While we cannot provide legal advice, we can point you in the correct direction.
Accessing databases from offsite:
To access databases labeled LAW or UNIV from off campus, you will be prompted to log in with your Hofstra Portal login credentials.
Still have problems logging in?

Accessing databases labeled PW:
Databases labeled PW are only available to the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra School of Law community. To access one of these databases, you must obtain the password from the Reference Desk, either in person or by calling (516) 463-5908.
