Hofstra Law

Alumni Association

The more than 13,000 alumni of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law make up our Alumni Association.

Membership in the Alumni Association is free to all alumni. The Alumni Association provides alumni with opportunities to engage with their fellow alumni, students, faculty and administrators for their personal and professional development, as well as to enhance Hofstra Law programming.

The Alumni Association is led by an executive board and is organized into three committees – Alumni Engagement and Development; Career Services; and Diversity – each of which works closely with a member of the Hofstra Law administration. The Alumni Engagement and Development Committee assists Hofstra Law’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations with alumni engagement, programs, and fundraising initiatives. The committee seeks to develop a dedicated and dynamic alumni community whose members are committed to each other, devoted to Hofstra Law’s mission, and invested in its future. The Alumni Engagement and Development Committee consists of alumni who: create opportunities to engage alumni with each other, the current student body, and Hofstra Law at large; promote an inclusive culture of alumni engagement and philanthropy (time, talent, and treasure); and create opportunities to strengthen bonds between each other and Hofstra Law.
