Bio

Michael G. Wagner is the Senior Web Developer for Hofstra Law, where he manages and enhances the Law School’s digital presence through website development, content strategy, and user experience optimization.

He researches, designs, develops, and implements web-based solutions with a focus on usability, accessibility, and effective information architecture. His work includes planning and executing website redesigns, content migrations, and ongoing enhancements to ensure that digital content remains accurate, engaging, and easy for visitors to find and navigate. He collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, University Web Development, and external partners to deliver web experiences that support the Law School’s strategic goals.

In recent years, Mr. Wagner has played a key role in Hofstra Law’s website redesign initiative, helping to migrate content to a new WordPress content management system and implement updated branding, templates, and content structures. He is also interested in emerging trends in search optimization, including SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and the use of artificial intelligence to improve content strategy, metadata development, and website analysis.

Mr. Wagner graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts, specializing in Graphic Design, with a minor in Art History. Prior to joining Hofstra Law in 2006, he held several positions at Hofstra University, including Web Design Coordinator and Graphic Artist.
