Hofstra Law’s clinics provide legal services in asylum, community and economic development, criminal justice, deportation defense, entrepreneurship and intellectual property, federal tax, immigration, law reform, veterans law, and youth advocacy.

Medical-Legal Partnership

The medical-legal partnership (MLP) provides much-needed legal and medical care to community members across Long Island and New York City, regardless of the ability to pay.

The program provides free information, advice, and limited-scope legal assistance to nonincarcerated pro se litigants who have filed or intend to file a civil case in the Central Islip Eastern District of New York federal court.
