“My semester working as a student intern at Hofstra Law’s Community and Economic Development Clinic (CEDC) was one of the most transformative and invaluable experiences I had in law school. During my time at the CEDC, my partner and I were assigned to several active clients, all nonprofits, and local businesses, each of them with varying legal needs and missions. During this time, I honed critical legal skills such as effective client communication, collaboration with colleagues on open cases, identification of client needs, and thorough due diligence — all skills that I have since implemented in my role as a Litigation Associate at a law firm.”
