STUDY ABROAD
In keeping with the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University’s commitment to educate lawyers for the realities of global legal practice, we offer several opportunities for foreign law students to study at Hofstra Law and for Hofstra Law students to study at foreign law schools. Hofstra Law students may study abroad in either the spring semester of their second year or the fall semester of their third year.
The EACLE Exchange
Hofstra Law is a founding member of the European American Consortium for Legal Education (EACLE). EACLE is a cooperative program between ten European and American law faculties to advance the knowledge and understanding of legal systems on both continents. This experience will provide an opportunity for law students, particularly those interested in European law, to deepen their understanding of transnational issues.
Our EACLE law school partners are:
- University of Helsinki, Faculty of Law, Finland
- Erasmus University Rotterdam, School of Law, The Netherlands
- Ghent University, Faculty of Law, Belgium
- University of Parma, Faculty of Law, Italy
