The Alumni Engagement and Development Committee consists of alumni who: create opportunities to engage alumni with each other, the current student body, and Hofstra Law at large; promote an inclusive culture of alumni engagement and philanthropy (time, talent, and treasure); and create opportunities to strengthen bonds between each other and Hofstra Law.

The Diversity Committee was formed to further Hofstra Law’s efforts to maintain a diverse student body, faculty and administration. The committee supports efforts to identify and recruit Law students from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds; provide support to affinity student groups and organizations through participation in their programs and events, as well as serve as mentors and advisors; assist in engaging alumni from diverse backgrounds and help to develop ways of encouraging their participation in alumni activities; and help to build financial support for Hofstra Law diversity scholarships and fellowships, and overall fundraising efforts.
