Language of Instruction

Limited English course offerings; German; students can participate in an intensive German language program to prepare.

Grading and Transfer of Credits

Students who participate in this exchange program will receive credit for all classes in which they receive a grade of C or better, or its equivalent.

The grades from the foreign law school will not appear on the students’ transcripts and not be included in the students’ GPA.

University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) participates in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). View the University’s grading policy.

Cost

Students will pay Hofstra Law tuition for the semester and will be responsible for all travel, housing, insurance and related expenses.

Financial aid is packaged through the normal process and scholarships apply as if students were on campus for the semester.

Housing

Housing is not offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), and students will be required to make accommodation arrangements.
