Mr. Weiner is Senior Counsel to the firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. He was a partner for over thirty years of that firm's predecessors, specializing in complex commercial and business litigation in both federal and state courts. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School, and also served for three years as an Acting Professor of Law at Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Weiner is a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, and is also a Special Master for that Court. He was appointed by Chief Judge Judith Kaye to the New York State Judicial Institute on Professionalism in the Law. He is a Fellow the American College of Trial Lawyers, and has been listed in the publication "The Best Lawyers in America" continuously since its inception in 1983.
