Biography

Professor Abrams, since 1990, has been the Managing Attorney for the international law firm, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Professor Abrams began his legal career as a matrimonial litigator for the law firm of Stanford G. Lotwin, P.C. Professor Abrams is a former committee member of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the Managing Attorneys' Association located in New York City. Professor Abrams also hosted an annual lecture for the New York State Managing Attorneys' and Clerks' Association with the late Professor David Siegel.

Professor Abrams graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens College in 1975 and received his JD from Hofstra Law School in 1979.
