Biography

Originally from Los Angeles and based on Long Island since April 2017, Allyson is thrilled to be growing her roots in New York as a member of the Hofstra Law family.

Prior to joining Hofstra, Allyson worked as the Director of Admissions & Outreach at Fusion Academy (first in Texas, then in New York), where she was responsible for all campus admissions, marketing, and relationship development strategy. Preceding that, she worked in corporate philanthropy; guiding small businesses, national, and global companies in the process of identifying, designing, and launching philanthropic opportunities as a way to improve brand awareness and clout.

Allyson holds a Master’s in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University, where she also received her Bachelor’s in Communication Studies, with a minor in Jewish Studies. She is currently earning her M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

Outside of work and school, Allyson enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and breweries, cooking, running, being active, and spending time with her family and friends.
