Your Hofstra ID will be the essential tool to get you around Hofstra’s campus, enhance your dining experience, as well as provide convenient access to a number of resources available to you. View the instructions on how to upload your photo ID (PDF).

Bring your computer to the IT helpdesk in room 100E in the law school from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Friday if you need help setting up internet access, email, and printing.

The Student Handbook is required reading for all students. It contains all Law School rules, regulations and procedures as well as detailed information on graduation requirements and the many programs and activities available here at Hofstra Law. Carefully review the Handbook prior to the start of classes. You are required to verify in the Hofstra Portal that you have read the Handbook. You will be prompted to do so automatically when you log in to the Portal. View the Student Handbook (PDF).

Arrange for your undergraduate institution to send your official transcript directly to Hofstra Law’s Office of Enrollment Management (if you haven’t already done so). If the Law School does not have it on file by October 1, 2024, you will be permitted to complete the term in which you are enrolled but not enroll in a new term if transcript is not of file by this time.

Check your Hofstra email every Monday for the “The Deane’s Docket.” This newsletter has a list of the meetings and events for the week.
