HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Hofstra University Continuing Education is sponsoring a “Women in Career Transition:  Possibilities, Opportunities and Strategies” conference on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hofstra University Student Center in Hempstead, New York.

Women of all ages are invited to attend this informative and motivational conference.  You will leave with a well-grounded action plan to get started on the path to the next phase of your life.  

The keynote address will be delivered by Emma Gilbey Keller, author of “The Comeback.”  

Partner organizations of the conference include Hofstra Law School, Hofstra University Zarb Graduate Business Career Services, Health and Welfare Council of Long Island, Long Island Coaching Alliance, Long Island Fund for Women and Girls, Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Long Island Volunteer Center, Long Island Women’s Agenda, National Association of Mothers’ Centers, Soroptomist International of Nassau County, The Transition Network, The Women’s Financial Group and Young Indian Culture Group.
