HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Hofstra Law School will offer a webcast in real time of the U.S. Supreme Court panel discussion on Thursday, October 2 from noon to 1 p.m. To view the webcast, visit Hofstra Law's new webchannel law.hofstra.edu/webcast.

During the Thursday event, Hofstra Law's nationally recognized Constitutional Law professors will discuss important cases under review by the United States Supreme Court and how this fall's elections will affect the Court's composition.

U.S. Supreme Court at a Turning Point? A Panel Discussion will take place on Thursday, October 2 from noon to 1 p.m. at Hofstra Law School Room 230.

Moderated by Professor Eric Lane, Eric J. Schmertz Distinguished Professor of Public Law and Public Service, the panel will also include Professor Robin Charlow, Professor Leon Friedman, Joseph Kushner Distinguished Professor of Civil Liberties Law and Professor Julian Ku.

The event is free and open to the public.
