The Office of Alumni Relations and the 6th Annual Celebrity Golf Outing committee are proud to host the 6th Annual Celebrity Golf Outing on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Seawane Country Club. The private member-owned country club was named winner of the 2004 New York Sports Writers Association Golf Club of the Year. The Seawane is an exquisite 18-hole golf course with scenic views of the water and outstanding dining and facilities. The outing will again feature the unique opportunity to meet and golf with numerous sports legends.

Honorees

Meadowlark Lemon, “Clown Prince of Basketball,” 23 seasons with the Harlem Globetrotters, over 16,000 games played. Enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.

Edgar Prado, Jockey, over 6,000 wins including riding Barbero to victory in the 132nd Kentucky Derby, three time Breeder's Cup Winner, 2006 Eclipse, ESPN Espy, and NYRA Mike Venezia Award Winner.

Rollie Fingers, National Hall of Fame Relief Pitcher; American League MVP; Cy Young Award Winner

Sports Legends

Ferguson Jenkins, National Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher.

Juan Marichal, Former S.F. Giant and National Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher.

Harmon Killebrew, National Hall of Famer and Eleven-Time All-Star Player.

Steve Garvey, Former L.A. Dodger and Ten-Time All-Star Player.

Lee Smith, Major League Baseball Relief Pitcher and Future Hall of Famer.

*This option includes 2 seats for the “Meet and Greet” Dinner with celebrities the night before the outing. Choice of celebrity golfers is made on a first-come, first-served basis.

7:15 p.m.		Awards Ceremony, Raffle, Honorees, and Dessert
