Professor Lescure joined the Hofstra University School of Law Clinical Faculty in 2014 and directs the Health Law & Policy Clinic. In her role as Attorney-in-Charge, she supervises law students who work to advance access to health care for low-income vulnerable populations, including the elderly and those with mental health conditions or substance use disorders. Professor Lescure was in private law practice for over twenty years, beginning her career with White & Case in New York, and building a health law practice over 19 years duration with the firm Miles & Stockbridge in Baltimore, Maryland. She holds a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a LL.M. in Healthcare Law from New York University School of Law.
