Professor Mandel is of counsel to Levy & Schneps, PC. Prior to joining Levy & Schneps in 2004, Professor Mandel served for more than 30 years as a Special Trail Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel, where he was responsible for the preparation and presentation of the most complex and significant cases brought before the U.S. Tax Court.
Professor Mandel’s practice embraced complex tax controversies and related litigation with respect to business, individuals, estates and trusts, and exempt organizations, as well as commercial and Surrogate’s Court litigation.
