BooksSIMON'S NEW YORK CODE OF PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY ANNOTATED - 2004 EDITION (Thomson West). This annual book, now in its eighth edition, annotates and explains the New York Code of Professional Responsibility and various related federal and state statutes and court rules.
LAWYERS AND THE LEGAL PROFESSION (The Michie Company, 3rd ed. 1994). This is a textbook for law school courses on professional responsibility. (The nominal co-author, Murray L. Schwartz, wrote earlier editions but is now retired.) The August 1998 Supplement to this book, which is entirely my work, collected materials to update the main text.
REGULATION OF LAWYERS: STATUTES AND STANDARDS (Aspen Law & Business) (with Professor Stephen Gillers of N.Y.U. School of Law). This annual volume, now in its 15th edition (2004), compiles and annotates statutes, ethical codes, court rules, and other sources governing lawyers.
