Biography
Professor Battle joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing and Research. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Florida A&M University (B.A. 2000) and earned her law degree from University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 2003). At Penn Law, she served as Comment Editor to the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and as an Arthur I. Littleton Legal Writing Instructor, teaching legal research and writing and appellate advocacy to first-year law students.
Following graduation, Professor Battle served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno, United States District Judge, in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Professor Battle was previously associated with the New York City law firms of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Arent Fox LLP where she practiced general commercial litigation.
