Khara Ashlynn Tusa received her B.S. from Cornell University in 2004 and her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2008. While in law school, Khara was an Associate Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal and contributed to Cornell’s Legal Information Institute. She also served as a Teacher’s Assistant for an LLM writing seminar, during which she ran writing skills workshops and tutored students one-on-one. Khara then practiced corporate law in the Global Business & Transactions practice group at Nixon Peabody LLP for three years, where she was actively involved in the firm’s summer associate recruitment process. Before joining Hofstra, Khara was the Assistant Manager of Legal Education and Training at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
