What is LinkedIn?
LinkedIn operates the world’s largest professional network on the Internet with more than 225 million members in over 200 countries and territories. When you join LinkedIn, you create a profile that summarizes your professional accomplishments. Your profile helps you find, and be found by, former classmates, clients, co-workers and others who share your professional interests. You can add connections by inviting trusted contacts to join LinkedIn. Your network of connections can then be used to find jobs, people and new business recommendations and opportunities. You can also search for potential job candidates or review public profiles of people at peer companies and organizations.

How to Join
Go to the Alumni of Hofstra Law Group page on LinkedIn. If you do not already have a LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to sign up before joining the group.
Please note that when you join you will go into a “pending status.” You will be moved from pending to active within a few days. To help expedite this process, please include Hofstra Law and your graduation year in the education portion of your LinkedIn profile. This is to ensure that only members of the Hofstra Law community are admitted to the group, and will facilitate the approval process.

LinkedIn functions independently of our alumni database. There is no connection between the two, and for now, there is no synchronization between the databases. So, be sure to also fill out the Stay Connected Form.
