Lisa (Valletutti) Aquino and Jason Aquino were married on November 4, 2011, at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. He is a senior royalties analyst at eOne Music, and she is an in-house attorney at Adecco USA, headquartered in Melville, NY.

Lauren Chartan, an associate at Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, was featured in the Long Island Business News article “The Newest Civil Rights Attorneys” on July 3, 2012. The article focuses on local lawyers providing counsel and legal representation to same-sex married couples. She also was recognized by LIBN in a “Ones to Watch: Long Island Law” article on September 19, 2012.

Gina R. Dolan joined The Greenberg, Dresevic, Iwrey, Kalmowitz & Pendleton Law Group in Lake Success, NY, as an associate in February 2012. The group is a division of The Health Law Partners, a Southfield, MI-based boutique health care law firm.

Claire J. Mitchell joined Stoel Rives in January 2012 as an associate in the corporate group in the firm’s Seattle office. She focuses her practice on food liability law.

Stacy Schecter has worked with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services since February 2011, appearing in family court in Kings and Queens counties. Her focus is on child abuse and neglect prosecution. She also has taught U.S. politics and government to undergraduates as an adjunct assistant professor at Queensborough Community College since August 2010.

John Tsiforas began serving as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Debra Freeman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in April 2012. Prior to his clerkship, he was an associate in the New York office of Debevoise & Plimpton.

Nino J. Caridi joined Wilson Elser in July 2012 as an associate in the firm’s White Plains, NY, office. He specializes in defending premises liability, construction litigation, workers compensation, transportation and complex general liability matters.

Meghan A. Horton joined the Bronx District Attorney’s Office as an assistant district attorney in March 2012.

Nicole Milone joined Berkman, Henoch, Peterson, Peddy & Fenchel in spring 2012 as an associate.

Vivienne Nguyen serves in the U.S. Navy as an active-duty judge advocate general (JAG). She is now stationed in Japan working at the Region Legal Services Office and provides legal advice to sailors, including immigration, marriage, divorce, consumer fraud, landlord/tenant issues and taxes. She was recently recognized as Junior Officer of the Quarter.

Kathryn L. Sullivan joined David K. Sergi & Associates, a San Marcos, TX-based firm specializing in civil litigation, bankruptcy and family law, as an associate in August 2011.

Ryan Budhu joined the New York City Law Department, specializing in tort law, in October 2012.

Jessica A. Chiavara, an associate at AlterEcho, a division of TechLaw, authored the article “Taking to the Market: The Expanding Leverage of Local Governments to Drive Sustainable Transitions in the Private Sector,” which was published in the Environmental Claims Journal in November 2012. She also was a recipient of the Hofstra Graduate Citation of Excellence in Environmental and Natural Resources Law in May 2012.

Diana C. Gambone joined Tonneson + Co as a tax associate on August 27, 2012.

Jesse Goldberg joined the New York City Law Department, specializing in tort law, in October 2012.

Laura Kitchen was appointed as an assistant district attorney, Queens County, on September 4, 2012.

Kyle Mitchell joined the New York City Law Department, specializing in administrative law, in October 2012.

Hayley Morgan joined Campolo, Middleton & McCormick as an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation group in the fall of 2012.

Max Schlan joined the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware as a law clerk in the summer of 2012.

Jason Simensky joined Gutman, Mintz, Baker & Sonnenfeldt in the area of landlord-tenant, bankruptcy and collections.
