Students from U.S. Law Schools
The 2013 Pisa program is $4,500 and includes:
- Tuition for 3 credits
- Accommodations for 14 nights
- Individual medical insurance
- Snack and coffee break on class days
- Opening reception
- Field visit to legal institutions
- Farewell party
You must make your own travel arrangements to Pisa, with round-trip transportation costing approximately $1,200. You may be able to find less expensive airfare online. You must have a valid passport and are advised to have medical insurance coverage while abroad, even though the program carries a health insurance policy for each student. If you are interested in applying, check with the financial aid office at your home institution to determine financial aid eligibility and availability.
You are responsible for your own meals.
Payment Schedule
- Nonrefundable $300 deposit is due with this application.
- The balance of $4,200 is due on or before April 26, 2013.
For Students Applying for Financial Aid
If you apply for financial aid but do not receive the aid by the deadline, Hofstra will accept a letter from your school stating that you will receive financial aid for the program. The balance must be paid as soon as you receive your financial aid.
Cancellation
Written notice of cancellation by April 26, 2013, will result in a refund of all but the nonrefundable deposit. No refunds will be made for cancellations after April 26, 2013.
