First-year Program

For incoming first-year students*

First-year Fellowship in Health Law and Policy

Tuition Scholarship
Fellows are eligible for up to $20,000 in their first academic year.

Summer Stipend**
Fellows who rank in the top 40 percent of the class at the end of the first term are eligible for up to $5,000 for a summer internship related to health law or policy and with a nonprofit or government employer.

First-year Health Law and Policy Associates

There is no tuition scholarship for first-year associate positions.

* First-year fellowships and associate positions are awarded to 1L students and are not automatically renewable for their second year. All recipients are eligible to apply for an Advanced Fellowship in Health Law and Policy after the first year.

** The guidelines of the Merit Scholarship Program for Incoming Students do not apply to summer stipends.

Advanced Program

For second-year and third-year students***

Advanced Fellowship in Health Law and Policy

Tuition Scholarship
Advanced fellows are eligible for up to $20,000 in an academic year. The scholarship is renewable for a second year subject to the guidelines of the Merit Scholarship Program for Incoming Students.

Summer Stipend**
Advanced fellows who rank in the top 40 percent of the class at the end of the first term in their second year are eligible for up to $5,000 for a summer internship related to health law or policy and with a nonprofit or government employer.

Advanced Health Law and Policy Associates

Summer Stipend**
Advanced associates who rank in the top 40 percent of the class at the end of the first term in their second year are eligible for up to $2,500 for a summer internship related to health law or policy and with a nonprofit or government employer.

** The guidelines of the Merit Scholarship Program for Incoming Students do not apply to summer stipends.

*** An advanced fellowship or associate position will be renewed for a second year as long as the student has met all academic program requirements and is participating in the health law concentration.
