Degrees and Programs

Hofstra Law School offers three degree-granting programs:

• The J.D. program is a three-year course of study. Read about the J.D. requirements and learn how to apply.
• The LL.M. program is a course of study for law graduates who are interested in advanced study in a particular area of law. Read about the LL.M. requirements and learn how to apply.
• The joint J.D./M.B.A. program leads to both degrees in four years.

Other programs provide supporting structures in which to study law, such as:

• International law programs and study abroad
• Skills programs and externships
• Fellowships in Child and Family Advocacy, in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights, and in Health Law
• Intersession programs and summer session programs
