Upcoming Colloquium

Colloquium on Law & Sexuality

Hofstra Law School invites you to the newly launched Hofstra Colloquium on Law & Sexuality. The colloquium is designed to advance the cutting edge of scholarship on law and sexuality, particularly scholarship concerning the human rights of sexual minorities.

During the 2007-2008 academic year, nine scholars will present works-in-progress at the colloquium. Those works-in-progress will range in topic from obscenity to employment discrimination, from comparative perspectives on sexual identity to traditionalist perspectives on same-sex marriage. The colloquium will serve as both a platform for existing leaders in the field and as a venue for cultivating new talent. | more |
