When can I apply to transfer to Hofstra Law School?
Transfer students should have attended at least two semesters at an ABA-accredited law school before entering Hofstra Law School. Transfer students can apply for the fall or spring semester.
What is the profile of an admitted transfer student?
Successful candidates maintain an A-/B+ average and are usually in the top 15% of their current class.

How can transfer students apply to Hofstra Law School?
Applications for admission may be submitted electronically, either through the Law School Admissions Council LSACD or via the Hofstra Law School Web site. If you apply online, you are not required to submit the $75 application fee. Students may also submit a paper application. To submit an electronic application, click here. Can I apply as a Visiting Student to Hofstra Law School?
Students in their final year of studies, who are in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school, may apply as visiting non-degree students for no more than one academic year to earn credit for transfer back to their degree-granting institution.
