Our faculty is comprised of outstanding scholars, talented clinicians, and dedicated legal writing and skills instructors. Together, our full-time faculty members deliver a first-rate education to Hofstra students. Their talents, however, reach well beyond the classroom to scholarship, academic conferences, media appearances, and other professional activities.

In the past five years, Hofstra Law’s 37 full-time faculty members have written or edited more than 20 books as well as 250 articles, essays and book chapters. These publications reflect a wide range of interests and expertise, ongoing participation in important scholarly debates, and significant contributions to the study and teaching of law.

Our faculty has also proudly sponsored several important academic conferences in recent years, hosted a successful 3-season faculty workshop series every year, and provided running commentary in newspapers and on radio and television about the most important legal issues in the news.
