Biography
Professor King received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Delaware in 1999 and a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 2003. She was the valedictorian of her law school graduating class and also served as the Editor in Chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. After graduating from law school, Professor King was a law clerk for the Honorable Jane R. Roth for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
After clerking for Judge Roth, Professor King practiced law at Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP in Wilmington, Delaware for three years. Professor King worked in the litigation department and concentrated her practice in the areas of labor and employment, commercial, and health law.
Before joining Hofstra as a Visiting Professor, Professor King was an Assistant Professor of Law at Campbell University School of Law, teaching Civil Procedure, Pretrial Litigation, and Health Law.
