Biography

Professor Mandel is of counsel to Levy & Schneps, PC. Prior to joining Levy & Schneps in 2004, Professor Mandel served as a Special Trail Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel for over 30 years where he was responsible for the preparation and presentation of the most complex and significant cases brought before the United States Tax Court.

Professor Mandel's practice embraced complex tax controversies and related litigation with respect to business, individuals, estates and trusts and exempt organizations as well as commercial and Surrogate's Court litigation.
