Biography
Fred Klein has been an attorney for the past 33 years and a prosecutor for most of that time. Currently, he investigates and prosecutes medicaid fraud for the New York State Attorney General's Office. Prior to that he was the Chief of the Major Offense Bureau in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office He personally tried more than 100 felony prosecutions and was the attorney on the Amy Fisher-Joey Buttafuoco saga, the Joel Rifkin serial murder trial, the kidnapping torture murder of a Hofstra student, the Jermaine Ewell racial attack as well as other murders, kidnappings and rapes. He has tried three Murder in the First Degree cases all resulting in convictions and sentences of life in prison without parole.
He attended college at American University and Law School at George Washington University where he was an editor for the Law Review.
