The Hofstra University School of Law Annual Golf Outing was held on Monday, September 26, 2005, at the Garden City Country Club. Jan Goldman '80 was this year's honoree and instrumental in getting our distinguished sports figures to attend. Ferguson Jenkins, National Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher; Ronald Leflore, former Detroit Tiger, Art Shamsky, of the 1969 Champion New York Mets; Lee Smith, Major League All-Time Save Leader and Future Hall of Famer, and Wesley Walker, former member of the New York Jets, were among the well-known guests at the event. All proceeds benefited Hofstra University School of Law Scholarships. Thank you to all who attended and helped make this day such a success! Save-the-Date for next year's golf outing, which will be held at the Garden City Country Club on Monday, September 25, 2006!
