Class of 1974

Gregory W. Buhler was named in-house general counsel at Kiwi International Airlines. His responsibilities include outside counsel, reviewing contracts, managing regulatory proceedings, labor and personnel issues, real estate matters, asset transactions, and insurance.

Hon. Susan Kluewer was elected to serve as a Nassau County District Court Judge (First District).

Richard G. Leland joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson as a partner in the real estate group.


Class of 1975

Mark D. Cohen was appointed a Court of Claims Judge by the Governor of the State of New York.

Tom Kehoe was elected to the Connecticut General Assembly. Mr. Kehoe is the first Democrat elected from the 31st Assembly District since 1958. He was appointed by the Speaker of the House to the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, the Energy and Technology Committee, and the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee.

Abraham B. Krieger was named a Member of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein P.C. He is a real estate and litigation attorney in the Commercial Real Estate Law practice.

Andrew B. Roth recently joined Mintz Levin's Health Law Section as a Member.

Mike Spero started as a Director at Sterns & Weinroth in January 2007.

Robert Tengeler joined the Albany office of Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, as Of Counsel. He is a former Assistant Medicaid Inspector General for the New York State Department of Health and has years of service in senior positions with the New York State Department of Social Services.


Class of 1976

John G. Bubaris passed away on June 28, 2006. The cause of death was heart failure.

Hon. Darrell Gavrin was elected in November 2006 to serve as a Supreme Court Judge in the 11th Judicial District (Queens County).

Lynne Adair Kramer has become a full-time Professor at Touro College's Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center as of October 9, 2006. She will remain Of Counsel to her old firm Kramer & Rubin, PLLC, currently Rubin & Rosenblum, PLLC.

Joseph R. Maddalone, Jr. is pleased to announce the opening of his second office, The Law Offices of Joseph R. Maddalone, located in The Empire State Building. This office is in addition to the firm's Melville location.

Steven K. Porter is Corporate Counsel to the Galesi Group and was appointed Senior Vice President in 1992. He concentrates his practice almost entirely in the areas of real estate and banking law. As counsel to various real estate developers, Mr. Porter is actively involved in the acquisition and development of all types of real estate, including office buildings, shopping centers, industrial warehouse facilities, hydroelectric projects, apartment complexes, and hotels.

Robert Siper is a Partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery in New York City. He is a member of the Employee Benefits Department and the Compensation and Benefits Advisory Practice. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Siper worked for a big four accounting firm, where his responsibilities included consultation on qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, both equity and non-equity-based programs, fringe benefit plans, and compensation planning for executives, from both a design and regulatory compliance perspective.


Class of 1977

Fred Heather joined the Los Angeles office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP as a partner in the firm's litigation and white collar/criminal defense practice. Mr. Heather was previously at DLA Piper and an Assistant U.S. Attorney with the Criminal Division of the Central District of Los Angeles.

Lisa S. Rothblum, former Executive Vice President of Atari, Inc., was appointed as the new Director of Business Development and Recruiting at David Carrie LLC. In addition to heading up the expanded division, Rothblum will manage business development, create additional programs offered by the firm, and participate in the placement and recruiting of partner and associate candidates.

Brad Scheler, a partner at Fried Frank, was named one of the Top 100 New York Super Lawyers in 2006.

Norton L. Travis, a founding partner of Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C. was included in the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in America under the specialty of Health Care Law. He was also featured in the July issue of New York magazine in the "Best Lawyers List" of New York area attorneys. Mr. Travis, chair of GWT's Business Practice Group, has devoted his practice to representing health care clients, focusing primarily on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and related corporate matters.


Class of 1978

Roslyn Goldmacher was honored at the Suffolk County Bar Association's 40th anniversary of Nassau-Suffolk law services where they were celebrating 25 years of pro bono service.

Hon. Howard Lane was elected to serve as a Supreme Court Judge in the 11th Judicial District (Queens County).

Arthur Schwartz has been General Counsel to Transport Workers Union of Greater NY, the NYC Transit worker's union, since 2001. He represented TWU during the strike in 2005, including the strike injunction. Mr. Schwartz is presently a partner at Schwartz, Lichten and Bright, a labor and employment firm. He was elected the Democratic Party District Leader for Greenwich Village from 1995-2005 and State Democratic Party Committeeman for the Lower West Side of Manhattan in 2006.

Honorable Denise Sher was appointed by Governor Pataki as one of the new Court of Claims judges for Long Island.


Class of 1979

Ilene S. Cooper, a partner at Farrell Fritz P.C., is a co-author of recently signed state legislation which precludes abusive parents whose rights have been terminated from receiving an inheritance from the abused child's estate. She was also recognized by the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women with the Achievers' Award.

Denise Hammond, of counsel at Tobin, O'Connor, Ewing & Richard, was recognized by Legal Times as one of the top ten immigration lawyers in the District of Colombia.

Judith Livingston, a senior partner at Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore, was recognized as one of the Top 100 New York Super Lawyers and one of the Top 50 Female New York Super Lawyers for 2006.

Joan E. McNichol is the recipient of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York's 2007 Marilyn Menge Award.

Jane Myers, previously at L'Abbate, Balkan, Colavita, & Contini LLP, has opened her own office in Jericho.


Class of 1980

Sari M. Friedman was named Businesswoman of the Year for New York York by the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council.

Rita Fishman Sheena co-chaired the Annual School Conference presented by the Nassau and Suffolk Academies of Law and Education Law Committees.


Class of 1981

Ben Rubinowitz, a partner at Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, & Mackauf, has been named one of the Top 100 New York Super Lawyers.


Class of 1982

Steven B. Aptheker, a partner at Lazer Aptheker Rosella & Yedid PC, was honored as one of the 2005 outstanding pro bono attorneys at the Suffolk County Bar Association's 40th anniversary of Nassau-Suffolk law services where they were celebrating 25 years of pro bono service.

Hon. Robert Bogle was recently elected to serve as a Nassau County Family Court Judge.

Miriam M. Breier, a senior partner of Breier Deutschmeister Urban & Brommer, was named chair of the New York City Bar Association's Committee on Housing Court.

Ilan ("Lanny") Gilbert, serves as the Principal Court Attorney to the Honorable John P. Collins. He was recently appointed to the position of Town Court Judge in Yorktown, New York.

Louis Lamatina was recently elected Mayor of Emerson, New Jersey.

Thomas P. Smith was appointed the Business Development Officer of Health Net of Arizona.

Hon. Linda Tally was appointed to the Family Court bench and had been sitting as a Family Court Judge for a few months.


Class of 1983

Alan Klestadt, a partner at Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP, was named by The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America as its new customs counsel. Mr. Klestadt is a partner at Grunfeld Desiderio Lebowitz Silverman & Klestadt.

Jeffrey L. Nash, a Member of Cozen O'Connor, was the recipient of the 2006 Nathan Asbell, M.D. Humanitarian Award, the United Way of Camden County's most prestigious award. He was honored for his ongoing community service and commitment to making Camden County a better place to live and work. Mr. Nash works in the firm's subrogation and recovery practice group in the Cherry Hill, NJ office. He is a Camden County freeholder and vice chairman of the Delaware River Port Authority.

Hon. David A. Paterson was elected to serve as the New York State Lieutenant Governor.

Philip Rogers joined DLA Piper as a Partner.


Class of 1984

Richard D. Collins, of Collins, McDonald & Gann, presented "Pumped: A Truth-Enhancing Seminar on Steroid Use and the Law" at the Drug Policy Alliance in New York, NY. A legal expert on sports performance substances, he recently lectured on banned ingredients in sports nutrition products at Nutracon, a dietary supplement trade conference.

Russell I. Marnell has opened a new Suffolk County office in Smithtown. The firm concentrates on matrimonial matters, such as divorce, custody, equitable distribution and child support. Mr. Marnell recently lectured before the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners on the topic of "Divorce Tax Planning for Closely Held Business Owners, Valuation Issues with Licenses and Degrees and Equitable Distribution Rules."

Andrew Oringer, the senior partner in Clifford Chance's ERISA and Executive Compensation Group, has been made co-chair of the New York State Bar Association's Employee Benefits Committee. His appointment follows his having co-authored the Committee's first report to the IRS regarding the watershed "Jobs Act" legislation codifying for the first time the tax rules applicable to nonqualified deferred compensation. Mr. Oringer was also named a Top 100 New York Super Lawyer.

Michael Paglino recently joined Bellavia Gentile & Associates, LLP as an Associate.

Richard A. Squires recently joined Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP as an Associate. Mr. Squires concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, real estate and commercial law.


Class of 1986

Steve Brockett was elected to a ten year term as a full-time judge of the City of Middletown City Court.

Judith Eisen, a Managing Partner of the law firm of Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C., was honored by Women on the Job, an advocacy organization dedicated to achieving women's equality in the workplace, at its 25th Gala Anniversary Celebration. Ms. Eisen is a member of GWT's Health Care Practice Group and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Hofstra University. She was also named Public Interest Attorney of the Year for 2006 by Touro College's Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Julie R. Evans was named Deputy Managing Partner at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP. She is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on litigating cases involving toxic torts, products liability, premises liability, and general liability matters. Ms. Evans also holds a leadership position on the Firm's Environmental and Toxic Tort Practice Group and Latent Injury sub-practice group.

Jeff Korek is the President Elect for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Mitchell Rubinstein is Senior Counsel at New York State United Teachers. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. Johns Law School and New York Law School.


Class of 1987

Hon. Richard I. Horowitz was elected to serve as a Suffolk County District Court Judge (Fourth District).

Janice Orshan retired from the New York State Department of Law.

Susan Sanders retired from her position as Senior Counsel in the Pensions Division after eighteen years at the New York City Law Department. She formed the Law Offices of Sanders & Deconinck LLP with her Pensions Division colleague, Magda Deconinck.

Russell K. Smylie died in a tragic motorcycle accident in August 2005.


Class of 1988

Margaret C. Barker recently joined the law firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP as Of Counsel. She focuses her practice on intellectual property, including patent prosecution and litigation. Ms. Barker has also prepared patent infringement and patent validity opinions. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Morris S. Bauer recently joined Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. as a Member of its Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Group. He was also selected for inclusion in the Bankruptcy section of New Jersey Super Lawyers 2007.

James P. O'Connor was appointed Commissioner of the Town of North Hempstead's Building Department.

David E. Paseltiner, partner at Jaspan Schlesinger Hoffman LLP, was appointed Chairman of the Education Assistance Corporation's Board.

Jay B. Silverman, a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., was a co-author of recently signed legislation which precludes abusive parents whose rights have been terminated from receiving an inheritance from the abused child's estate.

Cheryl P. Vollweiler, a partner at Wilson Elser Edelman & Dicker LLP, moderated a panel entitled "Boardroom Bound: A Woman's Guide to Corporate Boards" at NYU's Stern Business School.


Class of 1989

Robin S. Abramowitz, a partner at Lazer Aptheker Rosella & Yedid P.C., was named president of the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association.

Peter Brown, a partner at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, was recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer for his work in Employment and Labor Law.

Hon. Andrea Phoenix was elected to serve as a Nassau County District Court Judge (Second District).

Mark Seelig, a partner at Meister Seelig & Fein LLP, was named a New York Super Lawyer for 2006.

Joel R. Spivack, the principal of the Law Office of Joel R. Spivack in Cherry Hill, NJ, was awarded a BV Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. His legal practice concentrates in bankruptcy, real estate, and business law.


Class of 1990

Leslie Berkoff, a partner at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP, was re-elected to serve a two-year term as chair of the Board of Directors of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.

George A. Davis was named partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

Carol Ann Glick and her husband Joel Glick were honored by the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence at its annual spring gala. Mrs. Glick, who has served on the coalition's board for five years, is an attorney in the bankruptcy and debtor/creditor rights group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman.

Debra L. Rubin and Gayle R. Rosenblum take pleasure in announcing the formation of Rubin & Rosenblum, PLLC. The Firm will concentrate in the areas of matrimonial and family law.


Class of 1991

Joseph Wing was appointed the new Chief of Police for the Village of Hempstead. He was also recognized at the Hempstead for Hofstra/Hofstra for Hempstead Scholarship Ball for his commitment to the community.


Class of 1992

Joseph F. Accardo, Jr. was elected to counsel at Day Pitney LLP.

Loren H. Brown was honored by The American Lawyer as one of the top 50 young litigators.

Mark B. Joachim has joined Bracewell & Guiliani LLP as a corporate partner. He represents investment funds and financial institutions in a range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts and restructuring.

Andrew M. Laskin has joined Robinson & Yabion, P.C. as a Senior Associate. Mr. Laskin was formerly with Schwartzapfel, Novick, Truhowsky & Marcus, P.C.

William Munck, co-founder of the Dallas-based trial, transaction, and technology law firm Davis Munck, P.C., has combined with Butrus Khoshbin Wilson Vogt, LLP, a litigation firm focused on large-scale commercial disputes. The new technology boutique law firm, Davis Munck Butrus, P.C., will handle intellectual property procurement, management, licensing and litigation, as well as all phases of complex commercial litigation and business transactions. Mr. Munck was also honored as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Lawyers in America.


Class of 1993

Saba Ashraf, a partner in Alston & Bird's Atlanta office, was selected as a member of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. She works in the firm's federal income tax group, concentrating her practice on the structuring of complex business transactions and tax planning for corporations, partnerships, and other business entities.

Michael Baroni is General Counsel for the appliance company BSH in Huntington Beach, CA. He was named Chair of the Product Liability Section for the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Baroni's article, "Made in the USA?" appeared in The National Law Journal. He was also recently named Chairman of the Legal Operations group for the home appliance industry's trade association, AHAM, as well as a "Rising Star SuperLawyer", which will be part of LA Magazine in July 2007.

Craig Brown is a Partner at Duval & Stachenfeld LLP and practices primarily in the real estate field. He was previously associated with Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

Hon. Valerie Bullard was elected to serve as a Nassau County District Court Judge (Second District).

Andrew Gust joined Akerman Senterfitt as an Associate concentrating in the areas of patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical and mechanical arts, as well as general IP consulting.

Robert G. Litt, a partner at Jaspan Schlesinger Hoffman LLP, was named to the Suffolk County Police Veteran's Association.

James A. Rose was named partner at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman LLP.

Karl Wiemer was named partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in the Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Wiemer represents lenders, borrowers, sponsors and other parties in complex finance transactions. His practice includes acquisition finance, working capital lending, asset-based and cash flow lending, workout and restructuring, and debtor in possession and exit finance.


Class of 1994

Michael A. Burger joined the law firm of Davidson, Fink, Cook, Kelly & Galbraith, LLP as a partner.

Juan Merchan was appointed by Mayor Bloomberg to a Family Court judgeship. He will sit in Bronx County.

Jacqueline Harounian was named partner at Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, P.C. Her practice concentrates on matrimonial and family law matters, and encompasses other areas of law that affect individuals and families including real estate, wills and estates, and business law. Ms. Harounian and her husband, Maurice, have four children, ages 2 to 15 years.

Panagiota Betty Tufariello, an intellectual property attorney, was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Children's Maritime Museum.


Class of 1995

Hon. Ann Margaret Carrozza was elected to serve in the New York State Assembly representing District 26.

Jay Geiger married Michelle B. Manigrasso on April 13, 2007, at the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Mr. Geiger is of counsel to Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP.

Eric Horn, an attorney in immigration law, is proud to announce the opening of his own law practice in Brentwood, NY.

Dennis C. O'Rourke has joined the Corporate/Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group as Of Counsel for Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP.

Gail Weilheimer joined Wisler Pearlstine LLP as an Associate. She supports the firm's education, civil litigation, and white collar criminal defense practices.


Class of 1996

Jonathan Levine recently joined Cheifetz Iannitelli Marcolini, P.C. in Phoenix.

Thomas McKevitt joined the law firm of Sahn Ward & Baker as Special Counsel. He is also a member of the New York State Assembly representing the 17th Assembly District, which covers parts of the Towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead. Assemblymember McKevitt is also the Chair of the Municipal Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Nassau Lawyer.

Anna Pereira was appointed to the municipal bench in the city of Newark, New Jersey.

Margaret A. Robertson joined the Phoenix law firm of Gust Rosenfeld as an associate in the real estate practice.

Daniel A. Rosen was appointed to the position of Special Trial Attorney in the Department of the Treasury's Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service. The Special Trial Attorney is the premier litigation specialist in the Office of Chief Counsel, and is responsible for litigating the most sensitive, important and complex cases in the United States Tax Court.

Howard Schochet was named partner at Greenburg Traurig.

Andrew M. Schwartz was named a shareholder of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin. Mr. Schwartz is a member of the firm's Professional Liability Department and works in the firm's Philadelphia, PA office.


Class of 1997

Brian A. Bender was named a member of Harris Beach, PLLC in New York City. Mr. Bender's practice focuses on general and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability defense and electronic discovery counseling.

Blake Ian Indursky married Michelle Schurgin. He is the director of acquisitions and development at RAL Companies and Affiliates, a real estate firm. She is a real estate associate at Seiden & Schein.

Peter Morgan joined Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP as a partner. Mr. Morgan's practice includes the representation of financial institutions, issuers, borrowers and trustees in securitizations and other secured transactions, lease financings, workout negotiations and asset acquisitions/dispositions.

Hon. Patricia Quigley was elected to serve as a Shelter Island Town Justice.


Class of 1998

Philip C. Dublin was named partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

Michael S. Green, a partner at Green & Pagano, LLP, was recognized as a 2006 New Jersey Rising Star Super Lawyer. He was also recognized in the summer 2006 edition of New Jersey Monthly and Law & Politics for his work as a class action attorney.

Leon Feingold, a residential real estate broker at Cooper & Cooper, is living in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan. He signed a professional contract with the Israel Baseball League and will be pitching in Israel from June through August among the first professional baseball players of that country. If the league succeeds, it expects to have a team participate in the 2008 World Baseball Classic.

Brenda Janowitz recently sold her first novel in a two book deal to Red Dress Ink. Look for SCOT ON THE ROCKS (How I Survived My Ex-Boyfriend's Wedding With My Dignity Ever So Slightly Intact) on bookshelves in April 2007.

Philip A. Kusnetz joined the New York City law firm of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. as an associate in the litigation group.

Daniella Pessah married Ross Blackman on September 18, 2005.

Elaine R. Sammon was promoted to Counsel at Farrell Fritz, P.C.

Linda M. Toga is pleased to announce the relocation of the Law Offices of Linda M. Toga, P.C. The Firm concentrates in estate litigation. Ms. Toga was also named Treasurer of the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association.


Class of 1999

Pierre Blanc married Amanda Shear on August 12, 2006. Ms. Shear is a reading specialist in a local elementary school. When Mr. Blanc is not handling title insurance claims, he performs improv with the 2006 Best of New Hampshire Improv Troupe, Stranger Than Fiction.

Kevin M. Clyne was promoted to partner at Herman Katz & Cangemi, LLP.

Seth F. Kornbluth joined Herrick, Feinstein LLP as an Associate in the bankruptcy department. He previously worked at Cole Schotz.

Arthur S. Laitman was named partner at the Garden City law firm of Rosenberg & Fortuna, LLP. Mr. Laitman is a member of the firm's commercial litigation, corporate litigation, real estate litigation, and appellate practice groups.


Class of 2000

Chris Caruso and wife, Anna, had a baby girl on December 30, 2006. Ava Nicole Caruso weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 ounces and measured at 18 3/4" tall.

Dana DeStefano and Spencer White were married April 29 at St. Thomas More Church in Hauppauge, NY. Ms. DeStefano is an attorney for The Wolf Law Group, P.C. The groom is an information technology engineer for Henrich Equipment Co. Inc.

Randi-Lynn Smallheer '00 and Greg Peldunas welcomed the birth of their first child, Julia Elizabeth, on June 1, 2006. The family resides in New Providence, NJ.


Class of 2001

Bradley Aronstam and his wife announced the birth of their son, Brooks Henry Aronstam.

Jeremy Browner joined Feinstein & Nisnewitz, P.C. as an associate attorney. He came back to New York in July 2006 after 4 years in Cleveland, Ohio. The Firm primarily practices construction litigation.

Gabriel A. Leventhal joined the law firm of Rosenberg & Fortuna, LLP as an associate, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation and appeals, real estate, and corporate transactions.


Class of 2002

Daniela Boschetti married Michael Lynch on December 4, 2006.

Brian A. Bloom, an associate with Cozen O'Connor, recently served as a presenter and panelist at the second annual Sports and Entertainment Law Association CLE Symposium. Mr. Bloom concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters.

Vincent R. FitzPatrick III and wife, Katie Kurtz, welcomed their first child on June 1, 2006. His name is Jack Simon FitzPatrick. Mr. FitzPatrick continues to work at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in the Litigation Department. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Rocking Chair Project, a not-for-profit charitable organization that donates glider rocking chairs to new mothers in need.


Class of 2003

Patrick B. Fife joined Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo as an associate.

Kimberly Hill and Michael Mosscrop got married on June 17, 2006.

Jamie Rowsell and Mark Diminico were married on September 24, 2005 at Saint Mary's Church in East Islip, NY. Ms. Rowsell works as a litigation associate at Kaufman Dolowich Schneider Bianco & Voluck, LLP. Mr. Diminico is a project manager for Direct Insite. The couple recently bought a home on Long Island.

Janessa Trotto was elected Corresponding Secretary of the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association and Delegate to the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York, representing Suffolk County. Ms. Trotto also recently joined Vanbrunt, Juzwiak & Russo, P.C.

Betsy Walter currently resides in Kinnelon, NJ with her husband Todd and their two children Alexander, 4 and Gabriel, 2. Ms. Walter is an attorney practicing at Foster & Mazzie LLC in Totowa, NJ.

Matthew H. Woodard married Denise Woodard on September 24, 2006. They live in White Plains, NY, where Mr. Woodard works for Jackson Lewis LLP representing management in employment law and related litigation.


Class of 2004

Brad E. Feigenbaum joined Fennemore Craig's commercial litigation and mass torts practice as an associate.

Julie Grossberg married Dr. Scott Grossberg on September 25, 2005. They currently reside in Los Angeles, CA.

Jordan Leigh Santeramo and Daniel H. Smith married on March 26, 2006. Ms. Santeramo is at Davis, Polk & Wardell and Mr. Smith is at Abrams, Fensterman, Flowers, Greenberg & Eisman. The couple met at Hofstra University School of Law. The couple resides in New York City.

Joy M. Tassin joined the New York office of Fish & Richardson P.C. as a patent litigation associate. Ms. Tassin will focus her practice in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and pharmaceuticals. She completed her Masters in Biology from NYU and after earning her masters degree worked for the NYS Attorney General's Office in the antitrust bureau. Ms. Tassin is an adjunct faculty member at NYU.


Class of 2005

Andrez Carberry is the Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department. Mr. Carberry was awarded the Legal Rookie of the year award for the Labor and Employment Division at the New York City Law Department's Award Ceremony and Reception.

Melissa DiTomasso joined the law firm of Flanzig and Flanzig as an associate. Ms. DiTomasso practices in the area of general negligence law, with a concentration in surrogate representation. She recently assisted in the recovery of more than $1.5 million for the family of a victim of the World Trade Center attack, and has been instrumental in the Firm's work on behalf of Dow Corning breast implant clients.

Rebecca Klide married Michael Simone on November 22, 2006. Mr. Simone is a New York City school teacher.

Kyle Lawrence joined Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP as an associate. Mr. Lawrence works in the firm's Corporate, Securities and Financial Services practice area.
