1. This Law School has achieved remarkable success in a relatively short time. It trains its students to analyze and communicate as lawyers should and it equips them to practice law in any jurisdiction in the country in any area of the law.

3. Founded in 1935 Hofstra University is a private, liberal arts institution, which has grown to be a place known internationally for excellence. We hold 32 academic accreditations and we are one of only a small number of institutions to have a Phi Beta Kappa chapter. The University offers Bachelor's degrees in 105 areas of study in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, and Computer Science.  We also offer a full range of masters degree programs as well as a number of doctoral programs. Hofstra's student body of 12,000 includes men and women from 42 states and 56 countries.
